Dear All, The position of the police in Thamesfield Neighbourhood Police team is address and investigate (where necessary if not allocated to another department) all instances of crime and anti-social behaviour. However, as I am sure you are aware resources are limited and not all matters are easily tackled. We have to assess and prioritise which matters to allocate resources to. This matter is one such problem we are currently focusing on. It is a long term persistent problem. As well as pursuing criminal incidents we are also seeking a criminal behavioural order to either exclude this person from the area or impose conditions to prevent him from loitering in the area. However, for this we require evidence. Hence our earlier request for people to contact us in relation to this matter. Removing a persons liberty to act freely is not done lightly. Police will be required to document and evidence to justify any such measures imposed. We will ask again, for any that wish something done about this matter and that have witnessed such antisocial behaviour to e-mail: Thamesfield.SNT@met.police.uk |
