Well back in 2012 when I asked SWT customer services about them, I was told.... The Michael Valentine Memorial consists of 2 proper rowing racing boats that were donated by the widow of Michael Valentine (Baroness Valentine) and some plants and bushes. The boats are currently in storage. The reason for this is that the boats were in the location where the platform extension works were taking place. They have been moved to protect them. They will be reinstated but not until the works are complete. Maybe it's time to ask the new operator SWR's customer service team... |
