I spoke to one of the station staff today and asked him if the boat shells would be returned to between platforms 2 & 3 once all work was complete. He told me quite definitely not. This is a shame, and disrespectful to the memory of Michael Valentine, who was a proud Putneyite, and to his family, who so generously donated the shells, and supplied and maintained the plants within them. Does anyone else feel the same? Would it be worth lobbying TfL, or SW Trains, or whoever one would need to lobby? |
