"Having read the material, I also conclude that there is little obvious reason why WPCC might have wished it to be kept secret" Have you lost your mind? First things first, at minimum the Daniel Watney RVR proves there was most definitely an under sale and the WPCC sat on it in the hope the matter would disappear. They colluded. WPCC and WBC colluded to agree a £350k sale price which was drastically under market value. Even were you to agree with DW's ridiculous conclusion that the easement rights were worth £675K - they deprived the charity and levy payers at minimum of £325k. Pretty serious, yes? But the report is a nonsense. How can DW state in point 6.4 that the valuation was £1,350,000 but they halved that figure because they could have implemented the polyclinic permission (a dud, dead-in-the-water scheme) so they agreed to split the difference 50/50 because all that was needed to go ahead was agree a turning circle and apply for a change of use from a polyclinic to a school. So Bob's your uncle, £1,350,000 mollified to £675k. Nice work WPCC and DW. Is anyone amused? Anyone buying this nonsense? |
