The NHS has had a rough winter and its future might be even tougher - this general election will be an important one for this hugely significant institution. On March 25th at 7.30pm there is going to be a debate on the topic of the future of the NHS at site of the original 1647 Putney Debates, St Mary's Church Putney. It will be chaired by Labour's Parliamentary Candidate Sheila Boswell and the panel will be: Dr Tom Coffey (GP, Clinical Lead, Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group); Prof. James Barlow (Imperial College Business School); Dr Clare Smith (Consultant Psychiatrist); Gail Adams (Head of Nursing, UNISON); Jos Bell (Socialist Health Association London & Chair of Save Lewisham Hospital campaign). All are welcome and entrance is free. |
