| Having been out of the loop yesterday due to work, I have to thank particularly Catherine for her hard work and resourcefulness in tracking down Precious yesterday for Jack. The story has a very happy ending which is brilliant. I understand a well meaning gentleman saw Precious tied up outside St. Mary's Hospital, whilst Jack had to go for an appointment, thought she had been abandoned and took her to the Warden. Catherine, having been to St. Mary's and persuaded them to go through their CCTV, contacted the Warden along with many other calls and running around. The offers of help from kind people on this forum is really astonishing. Thank you all. The Wandworth Guardian didn't get Jack's story into the newspaper in time for print but James has given the link to the on-line story in the Jack - Homeless thread. I am sorry they have majored on me and not all you good folk, it wasn't for lack of talking about all your help and encouragement. Jack's picture is on Page 1 and story on Page 3. Just look at his art - this lad has talent. |
