I wish we could get some firm commitments that there will be no noise, dirt and smells, but not sure that we can. I don't know where Hammersmith got their information from, but they obviously lobbied to push it away from their borough. For those of us who have homes nearby, I fear that we may have to put up with all of the above, as well as losing value on our homes and/or being unable to sell. As somebody with not many years to go to retirement (before the proposed works are finished) I have very serious worries about this.
