Thanks Kate for explaining how to get on the Met statistics website - it has always defeated me before. The Met figures for February actually tally with the Crime Statistics provided by Wandsworth. My original comment was based on the March Crime Briefings - however the month is not yet over and we may get a nasty surprise when we receive the figures this evening! Actually the worst week for Thamesfield was at the end of January when the roads around Erpingham Rd had 7 burglaries. It is good to be able to discuss this on the Forum and the more people are aware and take sensible precautions the better - however it is still useful to be able to talk to the Police themselves about it.
