| B&R not recommended. Shop staff are polite and helpful but the fitters were disrespectful & untrustworthy, making the experience a bad one. The installation was supposed to be in 2 phases to allow us to clear rooms of furniture. First installers were the worst, leaving dangerous carpet nails scattered about, demanding we supply rubbish bags for them, and attempting to steal my large builders rubble bag. Second team made no attempt on a wet day to protect the new stair carpet. When my wife queried this she was told it was up to her to do it. No effort was made to update me with an arrival time. They were an hour late the first time. For today I was given a time of 10 -12, but "closer to 12pm", and they arrived just as I stepped into the shower at 9.30am. Infuriating! One month on we are still waiting for one carpet to arrive. Will be relieved when the experience is over. |
