Walking on Putney Common a week or so back, the section to the left of LRR as you approach traffic lights at Rocks Lane, I noticed a massive pile of builders rubbish deposited here. Obviously they had driven onto the Common and emptied their van. Waste included a lot of wood, old doors etc, bricks, rubble and plenty of broken glass all over the place. How can people be so selfish and thoughtless. This is a real hazard for kids, dogs and anyone enjoying walking through the area. I have not been up there since so don't know if it has been cleared away yet |
