'Omar, who was born in Somalia and came to the United States as a refugee in 1995, is by far the effort’s most prominent target.' She is also accused of marrying her brother to consolidate her claim for citizenship ! Days long gone when oppressed foreign immigrants, say Italian or Irish or Jewish rejoiced in gaining US citizenship and instead of decrying the country and people granting it to them actually assimilated and worked to make it the great country it became. |
