| High Adam my other half rowed in the great River race for about 9 yrs. With some of the Putney Builders. They rowed in a steel life boat several times, a skiff 2 times and gig. Also it used to go the otherway round from Ham to Poplar, I went on the large boat with other wives to Poplar for a big party in their club with a band and disco. Even got certificates. |
