| What a good idea. I had the pleasure of working there for nearly 40 years and there are some beautiful areas. Particularly the marble staircase leading up to the council chamber and the chamber itself. Plus the wood panelled corridors a If you go up the marble staircase the book of remembrance of civilian deaths during ww2 is particulatly poignant. They used to ( hope they still do) turn the page daily. |
