Something I just picked up on a news feed: the EU is about to launch an app for online age verification https://www.politico.eu/article/eu-says-age-verification-app-is-technically-ready/ If one's going to have age verification, this seems to me a better option: an age check via a government body who issues the documentation or a regulated body such as a financial institution, rather than having to provide details to a US tech giant? Wondered what others think? |
