Well, it's the US that seems to be in a mess. Even those who know that Trump overstretched his powers don't understand why it took the Supreme Court so long to rule he'd acted illegally, including some of his own appointees. Makes Europe seem a bastion of stability, even with Orban in Hungary supporting the dictator Putin, and sympathising with the would be dictator Trump; let's hope the US constitution and the rule of law holds up there. Time for the UK to move back towards the EU who were our major trading partners and keep a distance from the erratic US and its President's tantrums. |
