I think the sad thing is it taints the whole police force. They have to deal with everything from cyber crime, phone thefts, illegal drugs, burglary, car crime to terrorist incidents so I guess there's a range of personalities?
I have to say the police I've had contact with in he cyber crime area have come across a very reasonable people -I was talking to a Constable from the Met Police at a Cyber Expo last week who was very helpful - but I've heard others involved in liason with some police forces complain about an underlying feeling of racism and sexism (perhaps they were just being patronised?) but, tobe fair, that may be true of a number of organisations with a long cultural history?
