These days with automated alerts most of the time it doesn't need many people to monitor routine stuff. I suppose if they're correcting/adjusting a satellite or bit or making some other adjustment to a satellite there'd be more people around. Others can monitor or diagnose remotely if necessary. I guess the data collection and forwarding to customer organisations is mainly automated or controlled elsewhere. |
