By escaped I presume you mean you left a door/window open? This was very careless of you and I am astounded that you didn't take more care and be extra vigilant in keeping these  kittens safe, at least until they were confident in their new surroundings. I am also surprised the kittens were homed without first being chipped and presumably they have not been spayed either, so the rescue they came from doesn't sound very responsible either. Have you put notices on all the lamp posts etc in your vicinity and contacted all the local vets to see if she has been taken in? The poor little thing must be terrified and may have taken shelter in somebody's garden so leaflets through as many doors as possible may prompt people to keep a lookout for her. I sincerely hope you get this little kitten back and if you do I really hope you will be more careful with her and her sister from now on.
