13 storeys acceptable because a building nearby has 11? If that's the line of reasoning of the planners, we can look forward to a lot of high rises in Putney. Because the 13 storeys that have been approved now, nicely paves the way for the next 15 storey building, doesn't it? Surely they should be using the existing building as a reference point? And how many landmark buildings do people really want in Putney? Personally I'm pretty happy with just the big tower next to Putney Bridge! |
