You may be interested to know that there is now a scoping application for Putney High Street corner Putney Bridge Rd where the applicant wants 128 apts. This will take the total number of new apts in Putney to over 733 e.g. another min 1,500+ people getting on the trains, trying to get into schools, registering with doctors. Many of these apts are built with the assumption that there will be no car usage. As if! Our High St is already the most polluted in London and this dense development can only make it worse. The Putney Place and Capsticks redevelopments are too dense cramming apts in to meet developers profit targets. Develop but not to the detriment of the existing community. If you want to get on a train\reg a child in a school\see a doctor and be able to breathe in PHS in the near future you should comment to planningapplications@wandsworth.gov.uk.
