January has come and gone - and still no news from the Wandsworth Primary Care Trust about their efforts to sell off the Putney Hospital site on Putney Lower Common.

This is most curious since the WPCT has a good public relations team at their HQ by Wimbledon Station - and they were always so keen to keep 'stakeholders' involved and informed when the plans for the proposed medical centre on the site were being promoted a few years ago.  Those stakeholders would, no doubt, still like to be kept informed, even if the story is now about the disposal of the site to the highest bidder.

Why is the Primary Care Trust keeping so quiet?  Are they having difficulty in finding a buyer, perhaps?

Is it any wonder that, as far as I am aware, no tears are being shed locally over the forthcoming demise of our Primary Care Trust!  Will we miss them?
