| I agree that alternation is key to our quality of life in Putney and Roehampton, and that its end would mean aircraft noise becomes more intolerable than ever. So we can't relax and give up the campaign to limit what we are forced to endure, which in recent years has got worse and worse. Blair and Brown were vociferous supporters of Heathrow expansion and as the campaign for the Labour leadership gets underway, I'm beginning to wonder what the contenders' policy will be on this, for me, key issue. |
