Hi Richard, The 265 stops 25yds from my front door. However it'll only take us to the top of Clarence Lane and from there we'd have to walk for a further 15 minutes to enter at Roehampton Gate (a walk before a walk). Plus do the whole thing in reverse when we want to come home. OK, I take your point about Oyster cards but even with these the return trip for 3 people would be £7.20 which is quite a lot if one just wanted an hours stroll after a heavy Sunday lunch. £3 is also too much for somebody like me who tends to use the park little but often. But the question wasn't about modes of transport but if £3 is the flat rate irrespective of car park duration. |
