| I see that ex-Parchment is now another "convenience" store: what a shame. It's not as if one was even needed, since there is one on the other side of the Upper Richmond Road, at the bottom of Putney Hill, and the Tesco place just down the High Street. So it seems unlikely that Ian the tailor will be coming back and we've lost the only haberdasher's in Putney. But at least it's not another blasted mobile phone shop.... |
