| In answer to your question, Clifford, a migrant who crosses the Channel in a small boat is akin to someone who arrives at Heathrow by plane but instead of passing through immigration attempts to climb over the perimeter fence. I am sure you would call the latter illegal entry. If you did something like that you would expect to be arrested and prosecuted. Why are you so reluctant to call crossing the Channel in a dinghy illegal? They are both examples of unauthorised entry into the country. |
