I saw that if Canada proceeds with associate EU membership then Australia might also be interested in being an EU associate member as well.
Obviously, with Trump appearing so unreliable as an ally and apparently being friendly with Putin, sadly many have lost trust in the US as an ally. His attempts at calming the middle eastern conflicts seem to be backfiring at the same time - although, interestingly, he doesn't seem to be providing too much support to Netanyahu regarding the West Bank situation?
Perhaps things will change after the midterm elections in the US and Congress will have the authority to influence more rational and consistent decisions? Even the AI CEOs seem to be more cautious about their products while Trump make wild comments about the potential of harm from uncontrolled AI, contradicting experts in that area ... and the stooges he stuffed into the Supreme Court haven't always ruled to his advantage recently, so time will tell.
