| Mr Carter 'wouldn't it have been easier to make room for him to get past?' Many cyclists are a sanctimonious law ignoring breakaway group from the 'Save the Planet' movement that act and behave in the manner they do in belief they are doing good for the rest of us. They believe they have the right to ignore traffic lights and other aspects of the Highway code. The cityscape is now littered with abandoned electric hire bikes many of which are ridden on pavements by yobbos creating physical danger to pedestrians. What might have started out as a measure to cut down car usage is now a dangerous pest to pedestrians. Good to see Andy Burnham is looking to a proper testing regime for electric bike riders working for Deliveroo etc. Might also see most of them sent back to the countries they illegally came from. |
