Steven 'The allegations made by the Commission are disturbing but are they true? Observers who have no no independent access to the facts must rely on the impartiality of the authors of the report. All three members of the 'independent' Commission have a history of pro-Palestinian advocacy: Navi Pillay has previously accused Israel of genocide, a charge not supported by the UK or the EU. Srinivasan Muralidhar has stated that Israel is'attacking the capacity of the Palestinian people to exist', an accusation tantamount to genocide. And Miloon Kothari has stated that social media are 'controlled largely  by the Jewish lobby'. And more to the point who instigated the formation of this Commission ? Who chose its membership and gave them authority to act and comment ? What independent evidence did they produce to back up their accusations and from whom was it derived ? Apparently -"Member States of the UN Human Rights Council established the commission in 2021 to “investigate, in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in Israel, all alleged violations of international humanitarian law and all alleged violations and abuses of international human rights law leading up to and since 13 April 2021.” Note no reference to violations commited by Arab Palestinians. Has this body reported on the genocidal attack on Israel by Palestinians in October 2023 when - 'The number of deaths in the 7 October attacks, as published in December 2023, is 1,139: 695 Israeli civilians, 71 foreign nationals, and 373 security forces. This data was derived from social security data. There are additionally five people classed as missing, including four Israelis. The deaths included 36 children, of whom 20 were under 15 years old and the youngest was a 10-month-old baby'.- Wikipedia. Add to this the perverted sexual attacks by Palestinian men on Israeli women and girls during this attack, some only just recently released. It's all just one-sided criticism and bias against Israel. No wonder the UN is held in such low esteem if the members of this Commission are typical of its staff.
