Let's hope things don't escalate ... Iran has attacked Turkey with a drone. As A NATO member, Turkey could invoke Article 5, although I don't think they've any intention to. Perhaps just as well, given one of Iran's main allies is Russia. But perhaps some "purring" might be appropriate to calm things down before the situation goes out of control? |
