Starmer’s position now is untenable, the problem for all Labour MPs they do not have a good enough successor and they are all tainted by this scandal. In my view a general election should be called and the electorate should get who they vote for, we are a democracy after all.

I agree the public are totally fed up and enraged with all politicians.  No party will be scandal free but for goodness sake let’s end this “l was lied to” nonsense as every time anyone says it they are lying to the electorate.  Full vetting was done, Starmer knew the history of the man and the rest of the Cabinet all looked the other way. 

Let the voters decide.
