| Interestingly I watched something on TV today where Northumbrian Water were going from street to street with some new gadgets that they were putting down the drains to catch wet wipes so that they could then narrow down (sic) and identify exactly which houses they were coming from. The message again was that no matter what they say on the wrapper DO NOT FLUSH THEM. Blocked drains cost the water companies c£200M a year to clear and that cost of just ends up on all our bills. |
