I think the state of some of the pavement on URR is pretty bad. I reported one bit of pavement to the Council about 2 months ago. I was walking along and a paving slab I stood on was loose, in fact it wasn’t stuck down at all to the ground below and rocked from side to side. 2 other paving stones next to it were sticking up out the ground. This wasn’t a residential street, it was on URR, outside a shop. It made me wonder who was responsible for the pavement at that point, The Council, TFL or the shop owners? Also, I also tripped on a manhole cover, fell over, and face planted on the pavement a month ago on URR pavement in another location. Just wondered if I’m the only one troubled by the poor state of the pavements on URR. |
