Hi Barbara.  To be honest I also did not know that cycles/cyclists were allowed to enter Werter Road from the High St despite Werter being a one-way street, so I empathised with the elderly gentleman.   The point is, if vehicular traffic is prohibited from entering one-way roads the regulations should apply to everyone, including cycles imo.   I haven’t looked at the thread today because the self-righteous posts from the cycling brigade were too tedious.
