| One of this sites leaders points out that our lovely council is not to continue to trial safe roadside EV charging via pavement channels. Despite councils in England seemingly happy to help expand the take up of EV's, the Muppets at Perceval House want to continue to keep their heads stuck in the sand (or more likely up their backsides)! Instead they want to continue to champion street light charging points although many, me included, are nowhere near such a facility. The alternative for charging is the ludicrously overpriced roadside points (charging VAT at 20%) as opposed to just 5% from your home. To anyone who thought that Labour nationally haven't a clue, it would appear that locally the same problems exist. |
