| Sue, the traffic in Putney is disgusting. With fire on Friday in our road if it had been in the morning the fire engines would not have been able to put the fire out. I rang TFL yesterday and a nice young man googled the fire and was really shocked. I told him the Council were doing nothing about the traffic as Sat Nav diverts it into our road from Charlwood. How stupid is this Henry Chueng at the council told one of our residents, that if the fire brigade had rung him and said there was a problem entering our road he might have been able to do something. So the 40 sweating hot fire brigade were going to ring him at 6.30 in an evening on Friday, the Council want paying for doing nothing. |
