Mr Ainsworth 'And despite RAF carrying out hundreds of reconnaissance flights over Gaza, and sharing results with Israel. Not involved, la la la.' You might have an argument to say that the Middle East conflict is, to quote Chamberlain in 1938 during the Munich (Czech) Crisis, "a quarrel in a faraway land between people of which we know nothing." Perhaps we should let Israel and its Arab enemies 'just fight it out'. But if I were you I would not rush on line to Betfred and put money on your Arab teams. Israel can look after itself but it is an ally in the Western Alliance where we are also a prominent member. So they deserve our support if for no other reason that their electronic and other clandestine surveillance provide our domestic forces with key information to prevent even more Arab backed carnage on our streets than than we have been experiencing for more than a decade. And in the Iranian street attacks recently experienced in London seem to be starting up again. Your support for Iran might not be so publicly obvious that you would not be at risk. |
