| I am flattered that like Mr Brigo you also find my posts so fascinating that you spend time trawling back through the years to read them and remind others of them. Don’t flatter yourself. I have more interesting things to do than trawling through your posts. It was just a vague memory but I’m glad you have confirmed it. Your oft repeated criticism of the government’s policy re private schools and the VAT would hold more water if it was abolishing private schools but it isn’t. As you yourself say, if people can afford the fees, which, by the way, have increased hugely above inflation in the last 10 years, well before any VAT rise, then they are at liberty to do so. |
