Only she could be right. We had an accountant working as a carer at one time because she was waiting for her Eastern European accountancy papers to be accepted by/accredited by the UK authorities. Admittedly she had not arrived in the same way by boat. Many people arriving have professional qualifications. You hear much more about the ones who don't. |
