I can't see that it sets a 'precedent' in any way as it's filling in a space to match the buildings on either side and appears to compliment them as they will all be the same height rather than being at a lot lower lever as it is at present. I also doubt a developer is going to build flats that aren't 'needed'. Plainly it would appear there is a need or they'll be wasting serious money. It's the other buildings that set the precedent. Looks fairly innocuous in my opinion. And how can in 'sneak through' if it's publicly advertised as being planned and is available for comments? In my experience only direct neighbours tend to get any written notification. Perhaps you don't fall into that category? |
