There is another animal hospital nearby and that is the Blue Cross in Merton, which is near the very large Sainsburys. The only postcode that is noticeably missing from the areas it serves is SW15, presumably because there is no need whilst there is an animal hospital in Putney. Out of hours their website says go to their animal hospital in Victoria. Up until a few years ago, Battersea Dogs Home took their sick animals to Putney, but now they have their own veterinary service/clinic on site for this. I read the RSPCA are planning to make about one fifth of all their staff redundant and there has been a vote for strike action. I will not be signing Fleur Anderson’s petition. |
