| Here is an alternative that might work: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/recycle-1042-theme.html It's worth investigating. They are definitely delivering some electrical white goods at the moment if they can be carried by one person. So if you buy a new one you should be able to get one taken away. You can also take electrical stuff to thrm when they are open. You can check out www.hippowaste.co.uk to see what they are doing at the moment. If I remember correctly you can buy one of their bags (there are several sizes) in a DIY store, fill it and then arrange for them to pick up. Or just wait until the HWRCs open. I'm sure the Council will announce that as there are a lot of people waiting. |
