It would be worth looking through the 1930s Kelly's street directories for Putney which are at Heritage at Battersea Library, Lavender Hill, when they reopen after the current unpleasantness. Colonel H. Jones' father was also Herbert and his mother was Olwen. (You could also slog through their electoral registers for Putney in the late 1930s - it might be worthwhile checking the streets near the School of Art to start with. Long job, as no name index).

There is another possibility - the 1939 survey. See:-

It is available, payable, online. I have never used it, nor even seen it, but it sounds useful and complete, and currently seems like the most likely source.
