| The closure of Robin Hood Gate had a knock on effect on local traffic but not as badly as some feared. We’ve now all got used to it. I have long thought Richmond Park as an exceptional green lung in our crowded city needed protecting from excessive traffic. Most of it is through traffic not actual park users. There will obviously be knock on effects on local roads but this initiative needs support. I think the time is right to close the Park to through traffic. |
