The biggest problem is that they don't actually pick up the rubbish for people who nowadays seem to often like to leave their rubbish either on top or bagged up around bins rather than dropping it inside. Fingers-crossed it will work and if the rubbish is inside it will reduce the number of visits that operatives need to make to empty them. Time will tell. We can then consider whether it was better when we were taught (and we did) take our rubbish home. |
