The beer garden of the Telegraph is largely on common land, owned by the WPCC. I understand that the rent of the closed Telegraph pub is in the region of £250,000 pa.

The WPCC receive a paltry rent for the common land, a modest few thousand.

Is the closed pub paying the modest rent?

And if the £250k is correct, what element of the £250k would be fairly attributed to the WPCC.

Even it was a modest 10%, it would be multiples of how much the WPCC receive.
