The school scored the highest rating of "Outstanding" across all five inspection categories: achievement of pupils; quality of teaching; behaviour and safety of pupils; leadership and management and early years provision. The cross-communal, free school, which opened in September 2013, will be moving from its temporary location in Wimbledon to its new purpose-designed premises in Roehampton in September this year. The school, which admits both boys and girls, still has some places available for pupils entering Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 this September 2015. MJPS is a two-form entry school and will admit up to 60 Reception children (30 faith and 30 open places) every year. The Ofsted report, which is available on the school's website, commended the success of the school's leaders and governors in establishing a school community in which pupils of different faiths and cultures embrace their differences. |
