The Putney Society and the Wandsworth Society have organised a joint election hustings for the GLA candidates standing for the Merton & Wandsworth GLA constituency.

The event takes place this Friday 19th April at 7.30pm at St Anne's Church, 182 St Ann's Hill, London SW18 2RS (near Wandsworth Town Centre).

All are welcome and we are expecting a full house.

We have invited all five candidates, as follows:
- Leonie Cooper, Labour
- Eleanor Cox, Conservative (as she is unavailable she is to be represented by Lee Roberts, parliamentary candidate for Putney)
- Tania Marszalek, Reform UK
- Pippa Maslin, Greens
- Sue Wixley, Liberal Democrats

We await a reply from Reform UK, otherwise all have confirmed they will attend/be represented.

The format will be as follows:
- Each candidate will speak for 5 minutes, with order of appearance to be decided on the night
- Each one will take questions from the floor for up to another 5 mins, immediately after their speech
- After these stages are over, each candidate (speaking in a different order of appearance) will then have 4 minutes to summarise their positions.
